No Heroes thread this week?
I'm a little surprised that there was no Heroes thread this week. I watched this week's episode last night and I very much enjoyed it. Papa Petrelli looks as though he'll be a good villain. --Bob

Last week, I asked if Hiro and Ando had the opportunity to set up a scam of the bad guys. As soon as I posted that, I realized how silly that question was. Hiro controls space and time! Of course, he had the opportunity!
So Papa Petrelli can steal powers and cause his victims to crumble to dust? I guess that's less messy, overall, that the brain extraction technique.

I think that was more the fact that Adam was several hundred years old. Take away his power, apparently not just healing but anti-aging, and it caught up with him all at once.MarleysGh0st wrote:So Papa Petrelli can steal powers and cause his victims to crumble to dust? You'll note Peter didn't crumble. But his future self (before Future Claire killed him) had powers. I'm having trouble following story lines and understanding how they'll reconcile them all.
And how dumb must Mohinder be not to realize that holding hands with Tracy isn't the brightest thing in the world to do?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

And I thought Lost was confusing! The turns this show has taken has made it seem tame by comparison. Needs to do something quick or I may trim it from taking up precious Tivo time as I get ready for my trip to the Dark Continent. As it is it is no longer a show I watch right away. It has moved to the "when I can get to it" list.
Anybody following Fringe? Never was an X-Files fan and am not really hooked by this one either so far. I do rather like the whacky scientist father character.
That and Life on Mars are the only new shows this season that I have been watching. Jury is still out on both for me but then after the way the suits at the network like to yank any show I start to like maybe it is better not to get too attached...

Saw a few ads for it but haven't tried it yet. The ads didn't really seem to make it clear to me what is was about.ToLiveIsToFly wrote:Sons of Anarchy seems pretty good so far.tanstaafl2 wrote:That and Life on Mars are the only new shows this season that I have been watching. It's about a Western town that's controlled by an outlaw biker gang that runs guns. The first description I have of it, which isn't that accurate, is Sopranos on motorcycles.tanstaafl2 wrote:Saw a few ads for it but haven't tried it yet. Of course it's better than the concept sounds. And some of the main actors are very strong. Ron Perlman has been fantastic in everything I've ever seen him in, Katy Segal is underrated and very good here, and the X-Files' Mitch Pileggi is also fantastic.
