Why? We got a Starbucks gift card 2 years ago for $30. and still have about $8. left. We got their dried out sandwiches to killl the other $22. Their coffee is dreadful and grossly overpriced.

The Costco here sold out in two days - they said they don't know if they'll get more.

I half-heard a Dunkin' Donuts ad this morning that said their coffee outdid Starbucks in a blind taste test, akin to the Coke/Pepsi test from years ago. For my money, I'll make mine at home and bring it where I need to be.

I must admit, though, that I do like Starbucks' new Puget Sound coffee blend (tried during my audition trip). Not enough to make any special trips or pay for it, but enough to hope they'll bring it out in the grocery stores.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Thanks for posting this! They just opened a Starbucks that is sort of on my way to work (if I define "on my way" loosely enough) and it's also right in front of the Pet Smart where we're taking our dogs for training once a week.

I'll be going right by a Costco on an errand I have to run tomorrow and will stop in to see if they have the Starbucks cards.
