Sploofus hates me

#1 Post by eyégor » Tue Oct 21, 2008 6:22 am

Suddenly, I know nothing. I am mired in a 6 question losing streak. I have never done this before.

Somebody throw me a lifeline!

So that's why I've managed to get four in a row right after a nightmare first 2 weeks.....

It's getting revenge on me for my early success this month. After yesterday's 17.1% George Clooney question, I get one today for 11.9% on which is NOT an Alice Cooper album. Slowly sinking ...
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I wish sploofus would only ask me questions that I know.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

It's been doing a damn fine job for me! Keep it up, sploofus! No Alice Cooper questions, okay?

Of course you're doing ok. They're asking you questions about lemurs.

I've only been given two questions I didn't know the answer to. On the first one, there was one choice that seemed most likely to inspire a trivia question, and it turned out to be right, so I got it. The second one was about a movie that everyone but me has seen. I assumed there was no way I could know the answer, so I made a wild guess quickly. Once I saw the correct answer, I realized I could have easily deduced it if I had taken my time. That's the only one I've missed so far.

I got four out five vocabulary Qs to open the month. :D Now we're doing movies and television. :(

Sploofus has been pretty good to me lately.

The QoD, however, has been brutal. I blame the vast right-wing conspiracy.
