Seriously, the good folks at Millionaire let me know today that one of my PAFs is ineligible and I need a replacement. Meanwhile I never realized how few people are available at the same landline from 11-7:30. Shocking. Anyway, I need a PAF asap. Any volunteers available? The dates are Oct. 29-30.

Argh!

I presume this is because your name and photo are now displayed during the PAF team introductions? Previously, one could be on a PAF list every day and no one would be the wiser, if you were never called. Now, the audience might notice a familiar face.

That would be my guess, though I did suggest that clem21 double check with the staff to be sure that there really has been a rule change. --Bob

Maybe we could find out on our own instead of bothering them about it if they'd update the rules on the website.

It's true that I wish I'd known of the rule change -- given this limit, it's important to me that I give my time to people who appear to me to be taking the opportunity seriously (such as clem21). If the show is to limit my opportunity to make an impact, I'd like to give my time to people for whom it's as likely as possible that the impact will be big.

But really, I'm not the one who's hurt by the rule change. It's all about the contestants. PAFs are merely the supporting cast. So what bothers me about the rule change is that clem21 won't have one of the people he had decided were among his top three PAFs (among those available to him). I hope someone here can step up and fill the gap. --Bob (who wonders when "suck" became a transitive verb)

It looks like because of the picture you can only be eligible twice. Thanks for the good sentiments Bob. Don't worry about me, I'm lucky enough to be on as it is. As for BiT, come on I'm sure you're at least moderately attractive. And if not I can lower it to slightly...
