You could ask if you are a foe of anyone.
Not like most people would have the balls to tell you (not you, you, but anyone you).

Obviously, given I responded to you, you are not a foe of mine.

Re: I have foes
So, if someone making me a foe means they don't see my messages, then they wouldn't read my question asking if I was their foe, would they?peacock2121 wrote:Obviously, given I responded to you, you are not a foe of mine.

I have fees, fies and fums, but no foes.
If someone disagrees with you so much that they've declared you a foe, why should you care enough to find out about it? Neither of you will convince the other of your respective positions. "Never try to teach a pig to sing ...", with or without lipstick.

They would have to click on the message specifically to read it.MarleysGh0st wrote:So, if someone making me a foe means they don't see my messages, then they wouldn't read my question asking if I was their foe, would they?peacock2121 wrote:Obviously, given I responded to you, you are not a foe of mine.

Re: I have foes
Oh, I agree that it would make perfect sense if one's Friends & Foes list remained private. I was just curious if the Bored software provided a mechanism for providing that information as feedback. Primarily, it arose from the very subject line that pea chose to start this thread with: "I have foes." That immediately suggests two alternate explanations:gsabc wrote:I have fees, fies and fums, but no foes.

1) I have declared others to be my foes.
2) Others have declared me to be their foes.
As for the first explanation, if it's a private matter, why would one feel compelled to confess it? OTOH, the second explanation might more easily be an expression of surprise, as in "I have foes?" But it appears that that explanation is not supported in software, so pea must have meant #1.

Whatever happened to pea? Does she still post on this bored?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Re: I have foes
No. Even with the highest levels of access that Administrators can have, there is no means of looking up anyone's Friends/Foes list. The only change that can be made is to disable the Friends/Foes feature for the entire Bored.MarleysGh0st wrote:Oh, I agree that it would make perfect sense if one's Friends & Foes list remained private. It would require a bit of reshuffling behind the scenes (and would be a bit of a hassle) but it actually is possible to work around that restriction, if there are enough people who just can't stand one or more of the six of us.TheCalvinator24 wrote:I wonder if some folks are annoyed by this restriction:
