I liked the former shapely avatar with the message over the dog in helmet one.

I am foeless. It is hard to have foes when your world is pink and sparkly!

I just don't read 2/3's of the posts on the bored on purpose...

That is exactly what I did.

It is a bit weird. I see they are the last person to post in a thread and yet their post is not there.

I only have a couple there.

They are there only because the wording of their posts is lately insulting and nasty, not because of the content.

I have always thought of the wording as part of the content.

I am thinking I will rethink that and see if it makes a difference for me.

Can we see if someone has us as a foe? Or a friend?

Or can we just see our own list of friends and foes? Which, of course, we can because we made the lists! :)

I have neither right now.

I don't have any real foes here. Only faux foes.

I see setting up foes sort of like an ostrich putting its head in the sand. Or a kid putting its hands over its ears and yelling "nah nah nah nah nah nah I can't hear your nah nah nah ....!" But that's just me.

No friends or foes distinction for me. My method of reading the board is to first read the posts of all the people I know I always enjoy and then immediately read the posts by posters that more than likely will annoy me, piss me off or leave me shaking my head. Then if there's time, I'll read all the rest.

I'm rarely disappointed.

I don't have foes. I have only a very few people from whom I'd try to stay far away at parties. Fortunately, we don't go to the same parties, so that's a theoretical consideration, at best.

Thanks! Aiders and abetters are sorely needed. I'm tired, but
I can't complain as it was a lovely, gremlin free trip. Gorgeous weather the entire
time and a great trip. :)

For me, it's more like "You have lost the privilege of my listening."

I consider my listening to be worth something. Not everyone has it. I will listen to opinions that are different than mine, in fact I like that better than listening to someone I agree with.

People who rely on name calling or kooky logic or refuse to answer the question or don't want to have a conversation haven't earned and don't deserve my listening.

But that's just me.

Does losing the privilege of your listening also mean they have lost the privilege of biting you?
