I don't know what you mean, Bob. I watched SNL, and I saw a llama in the background early in the show. Later on, there was a donkey. I played the show again on the DVR, and they both looked like real animals.

Yes.

And she did a good job of being funny and good natured about the whole thing.

The opening skit had Fey playing Palin, being told by Alec Baldwin that Palin was there, Fey scurries off, passing Palin.

The resemblance (sp?) is uncanny.

Pretty decent show actually.

SNL did good by Palin, even to where she was standing.

In her scene with Michaels and Baldwin, she was in the center of the shot, directly facing the camera. The cue cards are held directly beneath the camera. Because Michaels and Baldwin were off-center, it was obvious they were reading from the cards, as they either had to turn their heads or eyes to read the cards. Since she was center stage, she looked more natural.
I am about 25% sure of this.

I missed this, I was still out and just checked the Rays-Sox score before going to bed.

I guess it wasn't a WWTBAM parody as I would have guessed from the first post. Tina Fey said "I'd like to use one of my lifelines" during her interview gag w/ Amy Poehler. Before that, the last WWTBAM parody I saw was a picture of Idol's David Archuleta with Phone-a-Dad as a lifeline.

I still don't get the cryptic comment about a llama on SNL. If that was intended to be a reference to Palin's performance, it makes no sense, since Bob posted it before the show actually happened.

I thought Palin was adequate in the role they created for her. Unlike most guests, she probably had only a few hours to rehearse and prepare, so they couldn't try anything very ambitious.

It wasn't even a joke. For it to be a poor joke someone would have to have understood it and thought it funny.

However, for the few lines she had, she was much better tha Baldwin. Much.

I thought Governor Palin did a fine job. The visual of her and Seth Meyers dancing in their seats while Amy Pohler rapped during Weekend Update was pretty funny.

I also enjoyed the Mark Wahlberg appearance, after his comments about not liking Andy Samberg's imitation.

I could have done without the Fartface sketch but, a pretty funny show.
