How much would you like to bet that the paperwork frogman signed included an indemnity agreement? --BobMarleysGh0st wrote:But your daughter would have the rights to that artwork and I bet she didn't sign a release!frogman042 wrote:I think they might have hit on something. In non-legalese, that means frogman agreed to pay any licensing fee that his daughter might, conceivably come about SyndieBAM for?Bob78164 wrote:How much would you like to bet that the paperwork frogman signed included an indemnity agreement? --Bob

It means that if frogman wearing that tie cost SyndieBAM money for any reason, frogman agreed to pay it. --BobMarleysGh0st wrote:In non-legalese, that means frogman agreed to pay any licensing fee that his daughter might, conceivably come about SyndieBAM for?Bob78164 wrote:How much would you like to bet that the paperwork frogman signed included an indemnity agreement? --Bob

Which is what I said, in more general terms.Bob78164 wrote:It means that if frogman wearing that tie cost SyndieBAM money for any reason, frogman agreed to pay it. --Bob
And, as I suggested yesterday, might have been paperwork tmitsss would have gladly signed, in re: his flying monkey costume.
Repeating yesterday's question: Does anyone have any ballpark estimate for a licensing fee like that? Suppose a daytime soap wanted to film a Halloween party scene featuring a character in a flying monkey costume. Surely there's some reasonable and customary rate for that?

SuitDude -- I didn't get to say this before, but I'm so sorry this all didn't work out for you. I was really looking forward to seeing you finally get your chance in the Hot Seat, even as a flying monkey.
(I know you're voting for McCain, so please ignore my avatar -- it's nothing personal.)

Actually, I can see something of a flying monkey impersonation in Senator McCain's pose; no doubt done as a gesture of support!JBillyGirl wrote:SuitDude -- I didn't get to say this before, but I'm so sorry this all didn't work out for you. Perhaps Suit Dude will become next week's Joe the Plumber.

This pisses me off.themanintheseersuckersuit wrote:That kinda sounds like to start of a scary Halloween story.
gsabc saidI started a new thread cause I didn't want to rain on Rafferty's parade. There was no Halloween call to me, I don't even know if they are having a Halloween week. I did hear of rumor of one. I'll be looking for Halloween promos.Another Halloween YAY! Go for the treats!
On a related note, where's suitguy's Halloween show call??? If he doesn't get one, the other costumes must have been truly spectacular.
I gave it my best shot, perhaps I was a bit over the top. It was a lot of fun dreaming about running the stack as a Flying Monkey and the kind of sensation that would have created. TPTB didn't share that dream.
Pisses me off

I am sorry TMiTSSS. Can you still be called for a regular show?
