I'm getting five months' severence pay, not quite as good as I expected.

I may be changing careers or even retire, but if you know anyone who works with IBM mainframes, tell them you know of an expert who's looking for a job. I specialize in MQSeries and CICS.

I was under the impression that you were a consultant and worked for yourself.

Not for the last six years. I may be again, but even than the jobs are scarce. I've been submitted to four places that are considering me.
