I don't think that those who answer several questions at once are necessarily hoarding them in order to zoom past somebody. I've discovered that I can answer something instantly on my laptop and it will still give me a time of 6-7 seconds. So I wait until I'm on the desktop to answer them. I'm not on the desktop every day and sometimes even when I am I don't think about Sploofus questions that need to be answered.
I was using "question hoarders" somewhat facetiously. I know that there are multiple reasons why people don't answer every day. I still call them question hoarders.

I didn't say that the things I think about are true, just that I think them.

I caught up on questions and I am presently ranked #10with 19,942.

I got a questions about Sumerians under the category of World Events. I don't think that it's world events, but I knew the answer from helping Emma study for a test last year.

I knew I shouldn't have opened my big yapper. Q this morning with a book and author I've never heard of.

I'll be back below 50 by this afternoon.

Back in 6th overall. Had the chance to jump to the head of the BB list, but was nonplussed by a strange vocabulary question.: "Which of these word is least like the others?" All the choices were adjectives. I got it right, but was very slow. I'm still not sure of the reasoning. I think the similar words described mental attitudes, while the oddball was more a physical/sensual description.

I Sploofused tonight and was very fast at it.

Right now I am number one, but I know that it won't last.

I am number 3 right now, but I suspect that many people won't answer their questions until Monday.

Reality bit me today. Got an obscure George Clooney factoid to puzzle out. Okay, if you're a George Clooney fan, it may not have been so obscure. The fact that only 17.1% of TQOTDers got it right, though, says it was.

As I sink slowly into the pack. Sploofus realized that I was doing too well and hit me today with an 11.2% question on Alice Cooper albums. Not even in my heyday, or his, would I have gotten it. I've always been mellow.

I would gladly trade, Ms. Fanny. I actually can't recall a recent geography question (he said, tempting the Sploofus gods).

It would not be exaggerating to say that, in an average week, 5 of my questions are Geography or World Events. I think they have some sort of algorithm to give you the categories in which you have the lowest percentage of correct answers in your history.

I should test this by changing my exemption from Science to Geography, since I got my one and only Physical Science question correct (my very first QOD ever and a completely blind stab that, if I recall, less than 10% got right).
