top o' the mornin'®
It's Friday, which means a fairly quiet day since a lot of people are taking off (compressed schedules). Plus I've finally reached the end of all the data calls I've been trying to answer. That clears the decks for today's "end of year appreciation party" hosted by our District Engineer and the various division chiefs. They provide the food and do the cooking (outdoor grilling in the park adjacent to our building) and there will be goofy awards (such as "the Project Manager from Hell" award). Unfortunately the weather may not cooperate - the high today is only supposed to reach 63 degrees, and there is a good chance of rain. But we've been told the party will go on "rain or shine".

Party on, dude!
David's company is having a "Jeans and Jersies" day today. I will coincide with a blood drive. David did not own an LSU jersey (he has t-shirts and collared shirts out the wazzu) so I went online and got him a jersey. It is #8 for Trindan Holliday. Trindan is about 5'5" and 160lbs. David is about 6'4" and 210lbs. I really bought the jersey for me. Hehe.
They are supposed to have a lunch outside today, too, but the weather looks crappy so it'll prolly go inside. They people that work with David are a bunch of wusses that went to OleMiss.
