Come out and introduce yourself. We rarely bite (except for Pea, of course, but she invites us to). --Bob

Thanks

I'm Marco, I have been watching WWTBAM for a while, and I am hoping that being a member here will help me with my trivia skills for trivia competitions (Reach For the Top)

So you're Canayjun? You've got company here. Off the top of my head, I know that Saucy (a1mamacat), Ellen (ontellen), and Doc (etaoin22) live in Canada, and Mac (MACRAE) is a Canadian expatriate now stuck in some desert somewhere. Where in Canada are you? --Bob

How did you find us? And does your screen name have any significance? Are you tired of answering questions yet? --Bob

My screen name is a combination of my first name and last name. I don't really remember how I found this site. I am happy to answer more questions.

What do you think of poutine? Feel free to answer in a separate thread, being certain to invite frogman. Then duck. --Bob

For trivia practice, you are welcome to join any of the games we play -- for example, QoD, which stands for Question of the Day. Under this month's format, you will see a single question each weekday, with two sets of longer and often more difficult questions on Saturday and Sunday. The format varies from month to month, depending on whoever wins the glory of writing the questions.

On most Friday nights, we play Friday Night Gender Defender, or FNGD, with questions about a wide range of topics. Additional games on music, movies, and other topics are posted at irregular intervals whenever someone has a good idea and makes it happen.

We're glad you found us.

Hey, I represent that remark!

There was a time that I used to like everything Canadian (note the past tense) - but watch out for Bob - and make sure you don't ever mention the famed palace of the Sun King - some grudges are just to tough to let go of, eh?

Seriously, has the dish made its way across the continent?

How about Canadian beer, e.g. Coors?

My mind is getting number as I get older and as I read the HK threads........but I thought that our neighbors to the north were ineligible for BAM?

They are. But that doesn't stop them from watching the show. --Bob

I took his typo "wating" to mean "watching," not "wanting to get on." Especially since the only trivia competition he mentions by name is Reach for the Top.

Poutine and Coors have both made their way here.
