I watched it. McCain, the non-Conservative, didn't get the knockout punch (and he had openings with Obama's Socialist tax plan and his radical abortion stance).

Obama was just Obama, the cold and calculating, lying, baby-killing Socialist. What else is new?

There's a huge difference between a political position and demonizing rhetoric. Some people get it and some don't. Did you notice the Devil Incarnate was quick to point out how he agreed with the Second Coming on some of his points? Sometimes there's a middle ground. And the Calculating, Immoral, Spawn Of Satan is very likely to become YOUR president, so maybe you can learn to put your Country First and live with that.

It is possible to post something about the debate (although this was more a Merry Man discussion thread) without using loaded words designed to evoke a visceral response ("baby-killing", "Socialist"). Those of us who have read through the political forums know of your opinion of Obama; was it really necessary to say anything other than something to the effect that McCain "didn't get the knockout punch"?

If you mark someone as a foe, you don't even get their avatar, much less anything they've posted (you'll still get it in other people's quotes, though). You'll just get an unobtrusive (so much so that you'll miss it unless you're specifically looking for it) line sandwiched between other posts that 'someone' posted.
