Okay, at Penn State it was mostly beer drinking, but I digress.

Anything that is a traditional tailgate food for the Broncos?

And beer of choice?

I need to get in the mood.

Chili and brats are both way up there. One local Broncos fanatic used to have a chili cookoff once a year, but I think his wife made him quit it.

As nearly as I can tell, the microbreweries have turned Colorado into a bunch of beer snobs. Fat Tire, Steam Engine Lager, Shiner Bock . . . take your pick, including Coors and Bud. OK, Miller GREAT TASTE! LESS FILLING!

One of the local breweries make a raspberry flavor chick beer that I find very appealing. Maybe I'll confirm the name and try to make it the official beer of the Bored.

I can drink Coors but find Miller Light to be really boring.

Coors it is.

But for dinner it is rib eye steaks in the dry rub SC was a doll to go find me last night.

Dry rubbed grilled rib eye steaks with potatoes Anna and oven roasted cauliflower will have to do. Most tailgaters I know would be okay with that menu.

Oh, and I am making a caramel bread pudding for dessert.

Really.

6:30 for wine, dinner at 7.

The end of the Cowboys' game was an incredible high followed immediately by an incredulous let down. How could they make a tying 52 yard field goal at the last second and then look so inept in overtime?

Nope, we agreed. If we won, you got the credit. If we lost, the defense got the blame.

Although,the offense can take a pretty share of the blame this week. Aargh!
