What happened with FNGD?

#1 Post by ontellen » Fri Oct 10, 2008 10:47 pm

I went into the board at 10:35 and no one was there so I left. I figured everyone was busy.

It just got started a bit later. We missed you.

If you had been there, we would have said, "Happy Thanksgiving." On the other hand, we'll say that on or before Monday, anyway.

Damn. Thanks Judy. As we speak the turkey is thawing and the dressing is all broken up and drying out. Is that okay? Everyone seems to love it. Must make Dutch Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie tomorrow. Even though Thanksgiving is Monday, we usually get together Sunday since no one has to work Monday. We seem to have gathered together several friends and relatives with nowhere else to go through the years. My separated SIL for 20 years and one of her kids, my widowed cousin and his son and David's best friend's widow and her son along with our son, daughter, SIL and grandson.

We usually get into a few card games after dinner. A very enjoyable day.

watching dice-K doesn't count.

I think my first post probably checked in at 1042 EDT. Around. I faked it anyhow, not having written the questions in advance, and the ones I had in my mind, only the old-time radio got used, and I was planning to post on Fred Merkle here on the main bored at some point, given that "boner" has changed its meaning over the last hundred years, but I didnt on Sept 22, and I should check back to see if anyone else did.
