Sprots just got it two minutes ago. Me, lb, and Sprots all posted at almost exactly the same second, but Sprots beat us both.hermillion wrote:Jumping in late . . .

I got the resubmit feature when I posted mine, showing Sprots' gus post as the previously made reply. I was gonna blame thta annoying quirk, but I guess it actually didn't matter....NellyLunatic1980 wrote:Sprots just got it two minutes ago. It is chilly tonight! Brrr. We started a fire. It was the first one of the year, so now we have that funny 'heat' smell in the house.

We "fired" up with the gas fireplace about two weeks ago and had the funny smell.cindy.wellman wrote:It is chilly tonight! Brrr. We started a fire. It was the first one of the year, so now we have that funny 'heat' smell in the house.
It's going right now -- very nice.

Was it as exciting as 80,000 on the old Bored? Or the time you and TomMitch traded posts for 88888?SportsFan68 wrote:Thanks!hermillion wrote:But just a bit too late.SportsFan68 wrote: Very close.

That's the type of firing up we did tonight too. When we get the basement started/finished, we'll have a fireplace that takes wood as its fuel. For now, gas will have to suffice.

No, not quite. I remember 80,000 distinctly -- it had Walhal in the middle of it, posting about opera. It worked, though.littlebeast13 wrote:Was it as exciting as 80,000 on the old Bored? You're way ahead of me on 8quintupled, NotebookBoy. I do not remember trading posts with TomMitch for it.

88888's the one I thought you'd remember too, because the BM wound up deleting the gus post later on.....SportsFan68 wrote:No, not quite. The thread I distinctly remember her deleting, Ace and Macs turned the Bored blue, or I guess more accurately a rather lurid purple. I dug this out of the Phoenix files: The ultimate PJ Party, or No PJ Party as it came to be styled, was late Sept. 29. Ace and Macsdaddy got carried away and turned the Bored into the Kama Sutra. It lasted a surprisingly long time on the Bored, but when the BM finally lowered the boom, it was swift and sure. EVERY post between 10:56 p.m. and 1:12 a.m. was wiped out.

Re: FNGH -- Friday Night Gus Hunt
By the way, At&T "loves" me so much because I have had so many problems that they gave me a direct line to their "level 3" people for help.
Tonight the TV box for our upstairs TV stopped working.
Yesterday I was on hold for an hour trying to get our Internet to work.
The day before that I was on hold for twenty minutes trying to get the Internet to work.
The first day, I summoned the installer back to my house because the Internet stopped working.
Yeah, AT&T loves me.
