How would each candidate run our country?

#1 Post by BackInTex » Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:30 pm

How they run their campaign is a good indication. Oh, I know they don't have THAT much to do with the day-to-day piddley stuff. But they appoint people to do that. Just like the President appoints people to do the day-to-day piddley and not-so-piddley stuff.

A stark difference in the results is noted by CBS reporter Dean Reynolds in this article.
The article wrote: The [Obama] national headquarters in Chicago airily dismisses complaints from journalists wondering why a schedule cannot be printed up or at least e-mailed in time to make coverage plans. Nor is there much sympathy for those of us who report for a newscast that airs in the early evening hours.
The article wrote: The McCain folks are more helpful and generally friendly. The schedules are printed on actual books you can hold in your hand, read, and then plan accordingly. The press aides are more knowledgeable and useful to us ...
The article wrote: The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama's, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.

You can learn a lot about a person by the people he associates with. Oh wait, thats already been discussed and dismissed.

O.K. You can learn a lot about a person by the way they treat people and by the way the people they employ treat people.

Eyes wide open folks. Eyes wide open.

When I first looked at the subject line, I actually thought it said "ruin".

Guess I better go get my glasses checked...
