speaking of power tools
dont buy RIDGID brand(home depot's line) tools that have a cord.
They have electrical "issues".
tptb should recall them.

RIDGID is not Home Depot's line. They sell them but RIDGID has no connection to Home Depot. RIDGID is a division of Emerson Electric Company.BigDrawMan wrote:dont buy RIDGID brand(home depot's line) tools that have a cord.

I have no opinion either way on RIDGID, Home Depot, or Emerson Electric.
Wait a minute! Yes, I do. RIDGID makes good manual hand tools, I don't know about their electrically powered ones. Home Depot is crap. Go to Lowe's.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Screw 'em both and patronize your local Ace, True Value or unaffiliated small local hardware store. Much more likely to find knowledgeable help and correct answers to your questions. It's worth whatever extra you might be paying.andrewjackson wrote:Home Depot is crap. Go to Lowe's.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

I go in, find what I need, and leave. Lowe's is better for this than Home Depot.
No matter where you go, there you are.
