I stepped in poop

#1 Post by Beebs52 » Sun Oct 05, 2008 2:02 pm

There's a metaphor there somewhere. Beebs left a tidy deposit beside my nightstand last night and when I got up to go to the bathroom I stepped in it. Just the edge of it.

I didn't realize it at the time and woke up with icky toes. I had relocated to the couch in the living room to allow Jeff to sleep without having to listen to the dog's panting.

I'm looking forward to my manicure. Not sure the technician wants to know my history, though.

He's a good solid pooper he is.
Well, then

I've done that. It's a toss-up which is grosser, poop or barf. I guess with the latter you feel like you can stick your foot under the tub faucet and be done quickly.

That's it. Barf is slimier. And maybe easier to wash off, but the initial impact is more disgusting. I've certainly stepped in my share of hairballs.

Ah, the finer points of excretion.
Well, then

I'd be gettin me a pedicure, not a manicure.

Let those puppies soak in that water for a good long time.

Everybody poops, no one should have to step in it.

Not to worry. It is a pedicure I'm getting. Heh. And I did shower today so I shan't be carrying boogers to the salon on Tuesday. Because I'll shower again before then. But, I may step in more poop!

A conundrum is what it is.
Well, then

This is how I sometimes feel when I open some of the political threads on the bored.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Open them but don't read them.

It feels like you just missed stepping in the poop.

Oh, I'm all about the esoteric...

Hey! I just made the most disgustingly bad for you comfort food. Potatoes au gratin with ham, onions, sour cream and nine pounds of cheese.
With fields of garlic in it.

It's deadly.

Hah. Hah. I say.
It was Monterey jack and a mixture of cheddar and jack (Mexican shredded stuff) and it was a LOT.

Someone else can make my nachos for that ordeal. We're going next week. I hope we don't have sun seats.

We have a gathering at our house each Sunday where we watch football and eat, eat eat. Think of it as a wanna-be Moratorium lounge, but football is on the tv!

This week one of the items on the menu was Eric's mom's famous potato casserole. As far as comfort food goes, I think it ranks right up with your dish BB. It has HEAVY cream in it. In fact, it has lots of heavy cream.

I suppose I like it a little bit. :)

Good reason to wear socks to bed. At least then you could just take off the socks and throw them away!
