Busy weekends ahead...

#1 Post by otherindigo » Sun Oct 05, 2008 10:25 am

Next weekend - Buble' (Front row. I already have my poster made out in my mind. I hear Naturally7 won't be opening for him, so it will have something to do with them. It will go along with the whole schtick he's done before)

Next next weekend - NKOTB (Meet and greet, no clue where seats are, though I know they'll be close. This is pretty much 20 years in the making.)

Next next next weekend - Alanis Morissette (I actually don't have tix yet, but I'll work on that last minute.)

I haven't checked to see if they're in town any of those weekends, but I may try to catch a Cowboys game if they are.

Hopefully I'll have many excellent new stories to tell my students.

I'd say "Have a great time", but I'm pretty sure you've got a lock on that!

How are you managing to score all the great tickets?

Buble' - TM has been holding auctions for the past tour for front row seats, along with 2nd and 3rd row. It really isn't as pricey as it sounds, and luck does have a part in it. Although, if I was trying to go to one of his concerts in NYC, then yes it would probably be really pricey. Also, I have a friend who I've deemed as TM Mistress. She's awesome at knowing "secrets" of the release of tix.

NKOTB - 5* VIP package through the fan club. They only sold so many. Along with MnG and "premium seats", we get "exclusive" merchandise and from what I hear 2 coupons for free "real" drinks. LOL

Alanis - I'm leaving that to the TM mistress. She's gotten us some really awesome tix before (ie. 3rd row Buble', Kelly Clarkson, and others).

And you do know me, I will be determined to have an awesome time no matter what happens.

I remember when I could do that kind of schedule.

Have a blast!
