Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!
--squirrelmama (10/3/07)
Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

I don't think her ears are that big.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Thanks, ES. It's perfect except for Annie/Molly running each $10 bill to Mrs. Rexer, waiting outside the scrapbook store.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!
That'll be $10, please.

LOL
Maybe Evil Squirrel's friend, Mr. LB, could make some of that attractive, colorful wallpaper for Mrs. Rexer to use in her scrapbooks.

I don't think her ears are that big.
They could be. Hard to tell under all this hair (I don't think I've had it cut in almost a year again--too busy travelling...)
But my eyes are blue. Erin's are green.

ES likes you better with green eyes.
Then again, squirrels are probably color blind.....

The only cat I ever had that had blue eyes was solid white and pure evil to boot. So if I were a cat, I'd have green eyes anyway.
Steve has green eyes, but my genes managed to win the battle for Stephen and tie for Rain Man. I lost outright on the last two....

I'm horrible on telling anyone's eye color. Part of the problem is mine are a yucky bluish grayish blech color. My Mom said they were bright blue when I was a cut elittle kid....
It's hard to imagine an ornage cat with anythign but green eyes. or yellow like Kitty Sandwich, but that would look really bizarre on you.....

So you have Rain Man's eye color, too--formerly blue, but now kinda indeterminate. I wonder if I secretly gave birth when I was 11 and my family had my memory erased and shipped the kid off to the Midwest for adoption....

Well, if it weren't for the fact that I saw my own birth certificate just a couple weeks ago, and it doesn't list your name anywhere on it, I'd certainly be suspicious....
And I doubt it could be a case of mistaken identity. My parents' favorite story is that I was the only white baby in the whole maternity ward when I was born.....

I shared the honor with a Filipino boy, so no mix-up with my family either. My sisters always told me I was adopted because my parents lost my birth certificate and I didn't much look like the others, but I found the certificate in a box of pictures, and a picture of my mom when she was a teenager before she lost her teeth to a disease, and we were ringers for each other. So

to them, too....

I grew up platinum blonde, and have since devolved into Muddy Whateverness. Stephen got the blonde/blue combo.
My youngest sister started blonde and stayed that way with minimal salon help.
