I have decided to do what is best for my country...
After reviewing my interactions with you all over the last couple of days, I realize I have a special purpose in life (yes, that is a reference to The Jerk). I am willing to become the National Object of Blame. I will proudly slink to the corner, wear a dunce cap and say to the world, "It's my fault.". I can shirk my obligation no longer. This is a duty that has been thrust upon me, and I can hide from it no more. Start looking for me at press conference and news briefings around the world.
Why did Hurricane Ike cause so much damage? My fault.
What is causing climate change? My fault.
Why did the ref blow the call? My fault.
Why did we invade Iraq? My fault.
My wife and children are willing to share in the embarrassment of having the head of their family become the N. O. of B. In return, all I ask is a small 7 figure yearly pittance, and some really good beer.
Your humble and faulty servant, etc.etc.

How come that flag in your avatar is white? Doesn't a white flag symbolize surrender?
Or is there something I'm missing? Signifying nothing?
Thanks for any enlightenment you can offer, Sir!

Yeah, sorry, luv, but you're in Connecticut, right? How far is the next town? It takes you, what 10 minutes out of your way? It is so my fault, but come on, it's not like they don't make your favorite dressing anymore, right?sunflower wrote:By the way...thanks A LOT for Stop & Shop discontinuing my favorite salad dressing. Now I have to drive to another town to get it. I know that somehow, that is your fault too.
at least, not yet...

It's inexcusable that you've waited this long to reveal your official NOBility. You should have presented this information a long time ago to enable those of us fettered with free-floating scattershot efforts at assigning B to others to assign the B to you, where it belongs.
It is your fault even more. Even more, sir.

It was the only thing I could think to complain about...life has been pretty good these days, but I felt like I needed to blame you for something! It was a stretch...I know...Rexer25 wrote:Yeah, sorry, luv, but you're in Connecticut, right? How far is the next town? It takes you, what 10 minutes out of your way? It's open to interpretation. I got the image from Mccainstore.com. They also have one with an American flag over McCain's name next to the white flag Nobama logo. I take it to mean that Obama does not stand for America. He stands for Obama. He will say and do anything to get elected, and once he is in office, he will push the liberal, Socialist agenda indicated by his actual voting record in the Illinois legislature and in the U.S. Senate and by his associations with domestic terrorists and his racist, America-hating former pastor.o-man wrote:Always wanted to ask...danielh41 wrote: Darn, I saw the subject line and thought you had decided to vote against Obama...

It could also mean his willingness to surrender American sovereignty to international organizations like the UN and the World Court. I guess the white flag is just a symbol of everything (and there is a lot) that is wrong with Barack Hussein Obama.

Okay, I just saw you said you wont tell, but I was willing to look in mine to see if they still have it.
Maybe they just stopped carrying it at yours. You can PM me if you want.
And has anyone noticed the lack of a gallon of red wine vinegar. My stores don't care it anymore. Just smaller more expensive stuff.
I blame Rexer for that too!

Thanks Christie! It's just plain old Wishbone Caesar. They just stopped carrying it one day. Big Y still has it but only in the large size. I have tried every other variety of Caesar and we don't like them.
I suppose this should be a sign that I should make my own...too much work for caesar though. I already make my own balsamic vinaigrette which is yummy, but the Caesar I prefer to buy. Before I realized Big Y had it I was actually buying some from a local restaurant!!! Even still it's a pain to have to go to more than one store, I actually emailed Stop and Shop to complain about raising prices and lack of items...oh and also the new and not improved gas program.
I will check in mine for the vinegar...I know for a lot of things they've moved to smaller and more expensive items, so it would not surprise me if they discontinued the gallon size!

I love red wine vinegar. I do not blame Rexer for that. Oh wait, maybe I will blame him. Blame doesn't always have to be bad, does it?christie1111 wrote:Which one?sunflower wrote:By the way...thanks A LOT for Stop & Shop discontinuing my favorite salad dressing. Man, you're just like those investment banking bigwigs who've brought our economy to the brink of doom and want the taxpayers to bail them out, while doing nothing that might jeopardize their obscene bonuses and stock options!
I say, if you've become our NOB, you are going to suffer!

Just by taking on the burden of being the NOB, I will be suffering from shame, and will become a social outcast. The pittance I ask for is but a thimbleful in the vast financial machinations going on now. And on top of that, when they're done, Congress can say "All of this is Rexer's fault". How can a person be expected to bear this, without some compensation?MarleysGh0st wrote:What!?!?Rexer25 wrote: My wife and children are willing to share in the embarrassment of having the head of their family become the N. Besides, the amount of the pittance is negotiable, but I would like some really good beer.

Re: I have decided to do what is best for my country...
Well, I wasn't particularly happy with McCain at that moment, saying that if the Senate didn't pass that particular bill that the economic crisis would become a disaster. I'm still voting for him though. It is better to vote for someone I agree with 75% of the time rather than someone I agree with 2% of the time (and I'm not so sure Obama is telling the truth for that 2%).minimetoo26 wrote:And here I thought only sss actually voted "against" someone rather than "for" someone else.
