Have I told you lately

#1 Post by minimetoo26 » Tue Sep 30, 2008 7:58 am

that I love..............

WDW!?!?!?

I realized on Saturday that I hadn't gotten anything from the Magical Express service (luggage tags or bus tickets) and I was leaving in less than two weeks. It wouldn't be such a big deal, except Stephen bailed so it's just me and Erin, so I'd have a stroller to deal with and no help with the luggage if I needed to fetch it myself to bring to the bus. I called and the lady said I'd just need to go to the counter and give them my airline baggage claim stubs and they'd get my bags (probably singular) for me anyway, but they'd send out tags on Monday or Tuesday and I'd most likely get them in time.

Well, they sent them Extremely Urgent Overnight through UPS instead. I just got them. It cost them money to send me something so I could use their free service. Is that great, or what?

Just make sure to bring the bucks, or I'll see to it all the rides break down before you and your daughter can get on them.....

I leave Wednesday night. Stephen's school is out Thursday and Friday, so I was going to take Stephen and Erin, and my s-i-l was going to take Demon Child and her other daughter, and I was going to take the three oldest and spin them and drop them until they felt like puking and she was going to take Erin on all the sedate things. Now they bailed because the prices went sky-high (looks like New York is also out for the holidays) and her husband's company announced pay cuts, but I had already gotten bargain-basement airfare for two, plus a room with my Passholder discount, and I was just going to buy Stephen a plane ticket if he decided to come. So it's just me and my little girl, which is fine with me!

Thanksgiving at WDW is not relaxing. But Thanksgiving with my m-i-l might be worse. I have these great free room offers in Vegas, but I wouldn't do that to my husband...

Thanksgiving in Gastonia participating in a parade would be much more relaxing...... and cheaper! :P

You haven't put my m-i-l on a plane. Or taken her to Vegas.

Seriously, she left like three hours early for a flight, only to sit at the wrong gate and miss the plane. And my s-i-l was with her! Only she was in the gift shop and each thought the other had boarded separately. Then in Vegas, she couldn't walk around MGM Grand because it was too big, so she asked for a wheelchair.

A partial list of things that are my fault:

Annie's soccer team losses;
The credit crunch;
Molly's mosquito bites;
The bailout failure;
The following wars: Vietnam, Gulf war I
The Great Depression;
Mrs' Rexer's migranes;
The Not-So-Great Depression;
The End of the Phone Game;
The Really Lesser Depression.

Anything else may not be my fault.

I will be, as soon as I figure out how he caused the Great Depression.

Just the thought that he'd be born a generation later was enough to do it? :shock:

I think it's Rexer's fault that I'm hungry. It could just be because I haven't eaten yet, but it's more fun to make it Rexer's fault....

I don't have Coco Puffs! My kids hate them.

Actually, I usually eat leftovers for breakfast. And I made Black Bean Chicken last night, and that's too messy to eat at the computer. So I was going to wait until I finished haranguing you for all your shortcomings before eating.

Ergo:

Hey Mini!

You got a recipe for the black bean chicken?

I got black beans and I got chicken, so I am half way there!
