Morning Joe

#1 Post by peacock2121 » Tue Sep 30, 2008 5:41 am

Joe was outraged this morning.

He gave me a clear picture of the way the House 'should work'. There is a whole lot of arm twisting that goes on to pass bills. I know I should have known that - I am a bit slow that way. I never thought that CongressPeople's committee chairs were threatened to get their vote.

Now I understand what 'poor leadership' means - not good enough threats.

Morning Joe is somebody on radio or TV?

I thought from the subject line that this would be a successor to "Toffee and Chreads"! 8)

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

Do you need him to sit for his portrait?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

No, I can use my imagination for that....

But not for his wit and wisdom.....

Sorry.

Joe Scarborough - MSNBC starting at 6:00AM. I love watching him and Mika, of course. Pretty well balanced point of view on news and politics. Mika keeps him even and he does the same for her.

He is a former Congressman - republican.

I actually like Joe Scarborough. He tends to think rather than just blabber the party line. Refreshing.

He does.

I usually awake at 5:30 or 5:45 and look forward to seeing the first 20 minutes of the show. He was on fire today. I did not want to turn the TV off.

I can't wait for Bill Maher this week. I hope he gets Scarborough to come on. Those two crack me up when they get on a roll.

Bill Maher refuses to go away.

I admire that in a guy.

He is also my kind of talker. Straight forward and leaves no question about what he is saying.

That's the problem...most people don't understand how Congress operates. In an election year, a lot of them are squirming since people are getting a look at what really happens and might actually rethink about the person they want in that seat.

That's what those of us opposed to the bailout have made very clear to them.

My Rep. is not running again so I don't have a much leverage, but made it clear that if he voted for the bill I'd vote for the Democrat in November. :P
