Quadrennial Bored Election Prophesy Contest - Announcement

#1 Post by nitrah55 » Mon Sep 29, 2008 11:47 am

Yes, it's that time again. Time for you to get out the tarot cards, polish off the magic 8-ball, or just contemplate your navel (or someone else's) and show- well, what we always try to show around here- that you're smarter than someone else.

It's the Quadrennial Bored Election Prophesy Contest!

As usual, winning will require that you select the winner of the 2008 presidential election and the states the winner carries.

Just to complicate things, there are rules, and a couple of twists to keep it interesting.

There will be an actual prize- an autographed copy of my latest Christmas pageant, with the added bonus of the two pages which the publisher omitted (don't get me started).

I will post the rules, twists and other stuff this Wednesday, October 1, so you have some time to think about your entries. Please note, no entries will be accepted before October 21.

Put on your thinking caps and start parsing that poll data.
I am about 25% sure of this.

It is very far away, as evidenced by my stoopid sploofus ranking.
