A question...Annie can answer maybe?
This just dawned on me...
We have the bored designations of two footers (those who walk on two feet) and four footers (those who walk on four feet).
I don't walk at all. I mean, I USED to be a two footer, but not anymore. Does that make me a no footer? Or a four wheeler? Or, since I sit on my rear end to get around, would I be a one butter? Or a two cheeker?
Where do I fit in? Do I belong at all? Am I a misfit like Rudolph and Hermie and that cowboy that rides an ostrich? Should I use an ostrich instead of a wheelchair? Do I have too much time to sit and think about stupid stuff like this? Do you know the way to San Jose?

Mr. T, you are a two-footer. If you didn't have any legs at all, you would still be a two-footer. In your particular case, you're a two-footer on wheels. Being a two-footer or a four-footer is about attitude, not shoes or transportation.
But, do you have an ostrich you could ride? That would be so cool!
The way to San Jose from my house is to drive north on I-35, then turn west on I-40, then when you get somewhere near Los Angeles, then take a right and drive north on I-5 until you get there. I've never taken that route myself, but I'm going to ask my mom to drive me there, to make sure I'm giving you accurate directions.

I don't think they sell ostriches at the pet store in the mall, but maybe they can special order one.

I agree with the 2-footer answer. As usual, that was a great answer, Annie. I giggled at the two-cheeker option though.
Fanny was involved in an interesting discussion about the island of misfit toys. If she sees this thread, I wonder if she'll remember it. I don't think her questions were ever resolved.

The one that's #4 in the gallery here:ulysses5019 wrote:what photographAnnieCamaro wrote:Mr. T, I was wondering if you had any of those duct tape underoos, like Mr. Uly is wearing in his photograph?
I think it's nice when Mr. Uly uses his own photo for an avatar.

I couldn't figure out how to copy it, or it would be pasted right here for all the world to admire as much as I do.

I must have been mistaken, and all the people who saw that photograph here earlier tonight must have been mistaken, too. Unless they say they were not.
If I weren't mistaken, I would have noted that I thought it was a nice picture of you, even though we (the ones who are mistaken) like the photos of you where you are smiling the best. You have a very nice smile, which was not displayed to its best advantage, so to speak, in the photo that we mistakenly thought we saw, but perhaps didn't.
Two-footers are so complicated! I don't see how any of you manage to get along with each other. Dogs have it much easier. We have to remember only two basic interactions: Tail-waggy nice dog -- sniff. Fang-snarly mean dog -- run. It works for us.

I have just one basic interaction..... chuck and snicker.

Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.
