I'm having trouble picturing this.

The actor Robert Wagner reveals in a new memoir that he had a 4 year romance with Barbara Stanwyck.

This was in the 50's. He was 22, she was 45. Both were single.

"Double Indemnity" meets "Austin Powers."
I am about 25% sure of this.

I think the term now is "cougar". Stanwyck was hot in her heyday.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

A Cougar + A Himbo a match made in Hollywood.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.
