You eat them one at a time?

Now that's strange. :)
No, I eat them by groups. Either one from every color (after eliminating the overages) or by color until only the reds, yellows and greens are left, then one each of those three colors until all gone.

Where is our MM OCD?

LOL! I never thought to do the stop light color combination. Does it taste better?

I just eat them.

I prefer the Peanut M&M's.

By far

I just might pass up the plain ones.

I could eat a whole pound bag of the peanut ones all by my own self.

I used to do something like that with Skittles (haven't had them in over 20 years) but that's because they're flavored.

Those are too good to eat more than one or two at a time!

I don't eat them. I'm not a fan of jellied or candied fruit in any way.

I buy them at the grocery store where I can buy my favorite flavors in bulk.

When you see the special Halloween package of M&Ms -- I believe it says the "cool ghoul" colors -- with Ms. Green M&M as the Bride of Frankenstein, think of her.

She designed it.

I am trying to paste a picture, but it's not working.

She does a lot of catalog work that you have probably seen -- I know I have but maybe that's just my choice of catalogs -- but I think this is her first national campaign.

She's a good kid and I am very happy for her success.
That's neat. Congrats to your cousin.

Of course not!

You have to put them in groups and then even out the numbers by eating the ones that have too many until there is an equal number of all the colors.

:D
Ah, this would be me! I thought I was the only one who did this -- until my two brothers and I were visiting Mom and she put out a new bag of M&Ms for us to snack on. When it dawned on us that we were all busy sorting colors, and eating "extras", we lost it.

So, christie1111, I guess this genetically-linked trait proves that you are our sister-separated-at-birth! Welcome to the family!

Why do I suspect that Ear has never seen a Jelly Belly?

M&M's have colors?

I guess when you tear open the bag and pour it into your mouth-you miss a few things.<G>

This reminded me of my dog/M&M story.

I had a fairly large open bag of M's on the seat of my pickup and my large German Shepherd that I had at the time-mid 90's-

grabbed the bag and wrapped his paws around it and went to town-There was no way we were getting that bag away from him.

You might want to try taking it away anyway, as chocolate is toxic to dogs and can be fatal if ingested in large enough quantities, relative to body weight.

Seen one?? Why, darlin', I HAVE one - it's virtually Kringlesque.

But seriously, elwing loves them, but their texture is just something that I can't abide. FWIW she's also into gummis of all sorts (bears, worms, etc.).

I play a game with Jelly Bellys. I try to figure out what combos would make an interesting flavor and then do 1 of each and then 2 of each. I do the stand-bys - like PB&J (both grape and strawberry) and then more exotic - like chocolate pudding and the marshmellow ones.

I only buy them if they come with a guide.

I didn't get much time to investigate the Halloween candy aisle tonight, but all I saw on the shelves now were the regular, non-holiday themed M&M's. I'll take a better look when I pick up my check tomorrow morning....

I did notice we have Halloween masks of Obama, McCain, and Hillary. Seasonal orders are put in well in advance, and I guess Hillary hadn't dropped out yet when those things were manufactured in China....

They say you can predict the election results based on whose mask sells best, but Hillary will mess that up.

Update:

Anyone want to take a guess at whose mask has been flying off the shelf while the other two have been collecting dust? It's not even a contest, at least at my store....

Seasonal merchandise is manufactured and ordered many months in advance. That is why we are still getting Hillary masks.....

Thus, we have no Palins, though she'd probably be pretty popular....

Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.
