I just don't get that same sense that I used to have when I bantered with samcat in The Old Days.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't become so wound up in this election. But, god damn it, our country is at stake here and (please forgive my brief political rant in this otherwise clean thread) I find it so difficult to believe that so many people can't or refuse to see that and what Obama represents. It's not fear-mongering or kool-aid drinking. It's truth. It's all there in black and white if you just seek it out. [/ rant]

I'm not sure that bantering with Samcat would be the same now. She's on Facebook, and she seems to be quite the supporter of Obama.
