I'll be in Vegas late Saturday through Thursday.
Who do we have here that still resides there?
I'm attending a conference at Caesar's Palace (and staying there as well).
I'll have free time Sunday morning and Monday night.
So who wants to show me the loose slots?
Off to Vegas

Off to Vegas
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

I think greedphee still lives in Vegas, but I don't recall how long it's been since she's visited the Bored.BackInTex wrote:Who do we have here that still resides there?

Wish I could help on the loose sluts...um...slots, but I don't do 'em. Uly likes anyplace with 25 cent Double Poker, which you can find just about anywhere.
I play table games myself. Last time I was there I did extremely well playing a carnival poker game called "Crazy 4 Poker". Wide swings up and down, you just have to remember to leave when the pendulum swings up. Just wasting time? Give Pai Gow Poker a shot...lots of pushing, so a modest stake of $100 can last you quite a while (although I have had bad streaks where $100 will last me about 10 minutes!).
And if you've never played Craps, don't start....it's INCREDIBLY addictive, the most fun game you can play. Great odds, too, if you play reasonably, but if you're not careful you'll suddenly realize you've been playing for 24 hours straight....it's the crack of gambling (and I absolutely LOVE it).
If you like sushi, head over to the Rio (there are shuttles from Caesars) and go to the all-you-can-eat sushi bar. Very good stuff. If Italian is more your style, my personal favorite is Canaletto in the Canal Shops at the Venetian. And Mon Ami Gabi's good, too.
Make sure to stop into the MGM Grand and see the lion habitat. And spend some time watching the fountains outside the Bellagio. And if you're into rollercoasters, there's Manhattan Express at NY/NY and Speed at the Sahara.
I also love the dueling pianos show at Harrah's. Mucho fun.
Have a great trip!

There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust while the infamous sit at banquets.
