Not only that - Disser Boy and Furyk are 2 up on Garcia and Westwood.

I think Garcia has never lost alternate shot in the Ryder Cup - until today, maybe.

Perry & Furyk are one up through the 14th hole and Cink and Campbell are even through the 16th hole). Looks like the US might be off to a good start.

I need to study up on this. It's not individuals, it's teams by countries?

Someone could just tell me so I don't have to go look it up.

It is USA vs Europe.

They play various games - this morning was alternate shot - two man teams, one tees off, the other takes the next shot and so on. They alternate who tees off.

This afternoon is best ball - still two man teams and the best score of the team is the one that counts for the team.
