"Ball park" estimate for flowers for Natalie's wedding came in at $9500!

Ouch! Haven't told the money man yet. Wish me luck!!

That must be the Yankee's new ballpark.

ES might be able to do it cheaper. I know he has access to lots of backyard gardens.

Remember, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy carried a small bouquet of wildflowers.

The bride whose wedding I planned wanted calla lilies but they're out of season. She stuck fake ones in the middle of her bouquet. Nobody could tell the difference.

Ouch! Well above what we paid. What the heck does she want that costs so much?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Well, it doesn't help that it's a large wedding party. Nine attendants. The church is pretty large as well. We're having something put on the double doors going into the church as well as flowers in the foyer. Not a whole lot in the church itself, but it adds up quickly.

The reception is at a different location and is sort of "rustic" so it needs a lot to dress it up a bit. I knew it would be high, but I was hoping for a lower figure.

If it's rustic, I suggest "natural" as a theme with some nice branches and autumn leaves with rust-colored satin bows to make it classy. (Oops! I guess I should ask the date of the wedding first!)
