I have 40 posts to catch up to LB. Let's do it while he's away.

Anyone got anything to talk about?

Sure. Your choice -- politics or religion. --Bob

If you were from Long Island, you would have a chance to win $1000 worth of shoes to get started again...

So what's the correct trite saying here...

This thread smacks of gratuity...

or...

This thread reeks of gratuity?
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

As long as people are interacting, it isn't gratuity.

These are the two pair of shoes we've narrowed it down for Natalie to choose from for her wedding. They both come in Ivory.

Amazingly enough, there have been two 1-0 games at Coors Field this week. One of them actually went into extra innings with a 0-0 score, the first time a game had gone scoreless through nine innings in the 14 year history of the ballpark. How about that humidor....

Should I bring you a Panthers jersey this weekend? The team is wearing white, and I have only one white one, but I'm looking for an excuse to get a newer one. You would be doing me a favor by wearing the Sam Mills jersey.

I'm thinking I don't need any fancy clothes for this trip, either.

I'm fitting everything into one little bitty carry on bag.

If the wedding is in March, I lean towards the closed toe. But it also depends on if she has nice toes or not.
Spoiler
I'm darned good and ready.

Are you going to be at the Vikings/Panthers game? I'm jealous, I'll be watching it on tv since it's Smitty's first game back and I am in deep, hopeless love with him.

Root for the Panthers, I'm playing Steve Smith and possibly Jake Delhomme this week.

We are, with kusch and AD.

They may ease Smitty back into the playbook, but on the other hand, he has torched the Vikes in the past. He's probably a good start. Jake will get you 180+ yards and 2 TDs this week, one to Smith and one to Muhammed or Jarrett. Minnesota defends the run game well so we may pass a bit more.

I believe his last game v. Minnesota was 200+ yards and 2 tds. He'll be chomping at the bit to show his stuff, and Smitty is always at his best when he feels he has something to prove. It helps that the Vikings secondary blows.

Still haven't committed to Jake. I also have Pops Warner and he's been en fuego (not to mention Aaron Rodgers).

I am now double jealous, btw. Not just the Panthers, but Kusch and Milton! Whee!!1
