Well I wouldn't go that far. In fact, I think the only reason I know is because he posted it here at some point.

I just thought we'd keep the PM theme going for a while. :)

Noooo. As far as I know, CBS is still playing with their schedule. I suspect it will be slipped in after the current run of Survivor or Amazing Race which both end in December, so I would guess they would start in January.

Of course, that's just single-person scuttlebutt.

As soon as I find out anything definite, everyone I've ever had contact with know.

LOL, I didn't see that there was a page 2 to this, where Kay mentions that other people know this. I wonder if lower case u-ly knows what it means?

You've already been told that he explained it in the past! What do you want, egg in your beer?

I think you should just go through and read all his posts until you find it. How many can there be? Ha!

Okay, since it will make you nutty, I'll give you a hint because I'm much more tender hearted than these other teases.
Spoiler
I think it was in the thread where he talked about his parents' anniversary.
You're welcome.

PS I think Butch and I also discussed it in one of your QODs last month.

And I really don't get the BFD about upper v. lower case.

I will admit that, years ago as a computer neophyte, I railed against the de-capitalization in IM or chat. But I eventually capitulated. Sometimes I will capitalize just out of habit, but if my fingers are really moving I won't worry about it.

But as far as handles and whatnot? What's the big wow there? In most cases, it's not even the person's actual name and, in many cases, it's not even a given name at all! I'm not for sure, but I think just out of habit I tend to capitalize those handles that are or could be actual names and lower case those that are objects. Same with initials, which is why to me andrewjackson is AJ and littlebeast is lb.

I could see even if it was a nickname that was in place of your given name. For instance, if your name is Sven Larsen and somebody consistently refers to you as sven, then I could see taking umbrage. Or let's say you have gone by Swede Larsen your whole life and nobody but your parents even know the name on your birth certificate. In that case, Swede should be capitalized as well. But, if Sven goes by nesraledews or iluvbigtrucks or whatever online, I see nothing wrong with calling him nesra or dews or trucks or whatever permutation ends up catching on.

Loosen up and just be happy that people care enough about you to reference your user name in the first place!

Btw, I"m not trying to say that you don't have a right to your preferences, I just don't understand getting one's panties in a wad over it.

So a reason other than "because that's how I like it, dammit!" would interest me, just for an understanding of why it could be important. Not that the above reason wouldn't be valid, it just wouldn't lead to an understanding, which usually leads to people remembering a preference for something other than just a serving suggestion.

Mine is my entire name in lower case, however, most everyone refers to me by my first name, using a capital letter correctly.

User names are a completely different story to me, although I suppose Marley is a proper noun and should be a capital "m". If I were to call Marley by his real name, I'm sure I would use a capital letter. As Annie would say, I'm that kinda girl. :)

I'm kidding, of course. I like marley as well.

I go away with lb for a few hours to drawing class and I come back and everyone has their panties knotted up. I hope they get unknotted.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.
