For madamemeisha... the door is about to open

#1 Post by frogman042 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 5:30 am

It's a few minutes before 7:30 AM in New York - my guess is our own madamemeisha is on the sidewalk with the other scheduled contestants for today waiting for the door to open in a matter of moments to enter the studio.

It looks like we have a BBer who is a PAF, so we should know when she is in the HS and when she has finished or if she gets to play today or not.

Here is wishing her the absolute best of luck and hoping she does great and has the time of her life.

Unless she's like 'some' bb who arrived 'slightly' late to the sight of an AP anxiously peeking out the door and tapping his watch...

Have a blast, madamemeisha!

Seriously, was it you? Is there more to the story - did you (or whoever it was) get in to play? Was it a matter of minutes that they were late or longer?

Enquiring minds want to know!

If you know who won Superbowl XXV, and if you know who the winning pitcher of game 6 of hte 1987 World Series was, and if you know who starred in my favorite film remake, I'll tell you.

Lol....
Sorry, couldn't resist.

I thought I was on time, but there was no one waiting outside when I arrived, and I got an "Oh, good, there you are!" when I got there, so I must have been at least a little late. No problem, however, they still let me in.

You are lucky, because they turned a latecomer away on my first day there. Obviously had a change of heart because she was there on the next tape date with me, but in the new group so she definitely had to show up there 3 separate days.

According to her profile she is from Oregon - and based on Bob's reports it must have been around 1:30 pm Eastern time (IIRC) - so if that adds up to who you think it was.... then you are just being cruel with your comment!

The nerve of some people, expecting me to play by the same rules I'm demanding of others. This is America, those that create the standards don't have to abide by them, that is part of the benefits of creating the standards - if I don't want to wait 2 months to find out how someone else did that doesn't mean I have to spill my beans. The nerve, the absolute nerve of some people. Seesh, I already told you I had fun - isn't that enough?

But rebel goes and posts that he saw madamemeisha and then brags about it being a FUN show but wont spill the beans on how she did - can't you see the difference? In the first case I already know the outcome, but in this case I don't - that is just unfair!

Well, I just want to know how much fun both of you had. And especially how much fun you and the IRS are going to have.

Wow, thanks for all the good wishes, everyone! I can't technically say if they helped me or not, but they're all so appreciated. And yes, it was a fun show, but I don't think that's spoiling anything. Bob was so generous to offer to be my PAF and I had nothing but great experiences on my whole trip. I'm happy to answer any questions I can for anyone who's curious or who'll be taping soon.

Having read tips, stories, and transcripts on this board proved to be really helpful in calming my nerves and preparing for the entire experience, so I'd like to say thank you to everyone! My tentative air date is November 25th, so I'll be sure to stick around, acting mysterious until then.
