Sorry, I'm too busy watering my potatoes. They're still glowing from lack of water. We didn't get a drop of rain from Ike. Good thing they cancelled today's Texas football game, originally scheduled to kick off at this moment. Winds have been gusting from the north at up to 12 miles per hour.

Yesterday the prediction for rain for today was at 100% - no rain
A few weeks ago they predicted rain for the evening, again 100% - not a drop.

In both cases soccer games/practice was canceled amoung others cancelations.

Me thinks that 100% doesn't mean what they think it means - unless 100% doesn't mean what I think it means - but I'm 99% sure it means what I think it means.

---Jay (We've had Dolly, Gustave, Hanna, Ike.... if we get to Paloma then that will be this number of named storms this season - if you know what number storm Paloma is you will also know the number of days until my expected air date)
