Flights to and from Chicago are apparently having issues due to storms, so rather than going from Toronto to Chicago to Orange County, Jeff is coming in at LAX.
Maddie is going to a dance tonight, so I had to find a ride home for her.
Emma and I are off, driving to LA, then we will go pick up Jeff's car. Fun, fun, fun.

They have to decide if we are a suitable home for a Greyhound. I had to provide references and fill out an application.
They gave me a two page application, so I retyped it, because I didn't want to write my answers in longhand, and the completed product is now six pages long.
I included photos of my other animals, our backyard and my family. (I was tempted to include the Simpsons group pictures, but decided not to.)

I would think the time you and the girls have put in as cuddlers makes this a slam-dunk decision!
How long does the process take? And, do you already have a candidate in mind?

Will you adopt one of your friends you've been cuddling with?PlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:They have to decide if we are a suitable home for a Greyhound. I had to provide references and fill out an application.

There is one dog that I would take home today if they let me. I haven't known him as long as Xamine, but I make an effort to take him out every week because he's shy and goes crazy sitting in his cage and we have grown closer each week. Emma and I have even taught him to climb the stairs. He likes me a lot, is fond of the girls and he is one of the dogs that I had Jeff meet when we went to visit, just in case Xamine wasn't available to us.hermillion wrote:I would think the time you and the girls have put in as cuddlers makes this a slam-dunk decision!

From what I understand, after they read my application, they will give me a choice of dogs that would fit with my famlly.
He he is among the group, he would be my first choice. We have have to get to know any of the other dogs that were offered to us before I made a decision.

We want photos of this young gentleman!
(I'm posting this on behalf of Annie. She's too much of a lady to beg.)
