I know I saw this elsewhere, but...
Hey all - I've been anticipating the arrival of postcard(s) all week and am getting anxious.
I auditioned on August 13th with my fiance - it looks like everyone else from around that time has received their card, but we haven't received anything.
My question is this - we should receive a postcard each, right? Even if we have the same address, I though they'd send us a happy/sad wedding postcard to both of us - does anyone know if this is the case?
I know I saw elsewhere that it would be inappropriate to call about the status of a card, so that isn't an option - but I wanted to see if anyone had any input about the number of cards. The reason I ask is that the likelihood of one card getting lost in the mail is minimal, but two getting lost is even less.
Also, I know it's only been about 3.5 weeks, but seeing the arrival of everyone else's cards has made me more anxious.
Thanks in advance for any insight!

My fiance and I have auditioned for engaged couples week three times. Yes, each of you should receive your own postcard even if you live together. Twice, we received 3 postcards all together--1 addressed to each of us individually and 1 addressed to both of us together. The last time we auditioned we received 2 postcards--1 addressed to each of us, with the words regular and wedding handwritten and highlighted. Each time we've auditioned it has taken a different amount of days for the postcards to arrive. We've received them 13, 17, and 23 days after auditioning. Good Luck!!

The website says they are still looking for people to play in the Pay For Your Wedding specialty show. If that is true, then you might just be 'on the cusp', meaning they haven't decided if you are a yes or a no yet.
I have been away from the bored, so I don't know if we have reports of other couples getting the happy card. If there have been no reports, don't fret - you should get a card.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

I've read about some couples getting the sad card, but hey - "cusp" is positive, I'll take it! Thanks for the well wishes.peacock2121 wrote:The website says they are still looking for people to play in the Pay For Your Wedding specialty show. Each of you ought to get your own postcard, but TPTB don't seem to have worked out a clear an unambiguous system for communicating the results of multiple edition auditions with one PC. They seem to be penciling in and highlighting the names of the special edition tests, but some people have reported that indicating both shows, "Regular/Movie" while others only have the special edition noted--"Wedding"--leaving the regular results uncertain.
I'd say that if either of you get a card for the Wedding edition, it'd apply to both of you. If that card doesn't mention the regular edition, who knows?

Congratulations!twosome wrote:Unbelievably, we received our congratulatory card today (my birthday). It was only one card addressed to both of us, highlighted for wedding week! There is hope out there, for those that have been waiting on the card to come!
Maybe, because of space limitations, they are taping wedding shows in waves.

Thanks for the insight! We still haven't received any postcard(s), so at this point (as the call came in for another couple) I guess I'll concede to a sad card. Darn! I'll let you know if we happen to get one ever, but it's been a month (tomorrow), so it seems unlikely.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

They could do John Edwards, his lovely wife and that slut that John was sleeping with. THat would be an interesting show.

It seems to me that Edwards was the slut. He's the one who was cheating on his wife. The woman was merely an enabler. --BobPlacentiaSoccerMom wrote:Three generations or threesomes?ulysses5019 wrote:I'm still waiting for the threesome week.twosome wrote:

Uly is making a joke. He always makes jokes, but just to get technical on this point, he's not eligible to appear on this show again.twosome wrote:By the way, we only received ONE postcard, addressed to both of us - so that may be the case for you if you happen to all live at the same address.ulysses5019 wrote:

Congrats on getting the Happy Card and good luck getting The Call, twosome!
Edited grammar.

She knew he was married. I really dislike women who go after men they know are married. Women shouldn't do that to each other.Bob78164 wrote:It seems to me that Edwards was the slut.
