Good thing my new cable has the BBC....
...otherwise I might be convinced that there really is NOTHING going on ANYWHERE on the planet that doesn't concern American presidential politics. Well I guess there is Ike. But that gets politicized in a lot of the coverage, too.
I'm willing to bet my entire non-existent fortune that it will be politics on all the major news channels if I turn on my TV right now. Let's check in.
Ok, I concede. We have the 9/11 memorials.
Given that....I'm willing to bet my non-existent fortune that, after today's reprieve, it will be all politics all the time on all the major news channels at any given time between now and just after the February inauguration.

yeah, I have found out about stuff like school shootings in Norway from when I can't sleep & am watching some BBC news on PBS late, because, hey, if they aren't our school shootings, what do we care, right?

I just found out that my team member who lives in Sioux Falls, SD does not have a TV. She gets all her news from the local paper and the Net.
