Because I work for a financial institution and there's a regulation saying employees have to get clearance to contribute to any election fund that included a sitting governor.
Not that I have to worry about that.
I also have to get clearance before I contribute to any New Jersey election fund due to a New Jersey law.
I wonder how many time that law has been unknowingly violated. My company just today came out with an email "reminding" us about all that.
