Marvel/Disney needs a new font

#1 Post by SpacemanSpiff » Wed May 06, 2015 4:31 pm

At the office yesterday, I picked up a bottle of Dr. Pepper, which had the promos for the latest Avengers movie on it.

Except that, at my desk, my warped brain misread the subtitle. Of course, it was in small print in their stylized graphics, about 2.5 mm - not sure how that come across in point size, but definitely small. And I saw something other than "AGE" in the words.

And, just to be sure, I asked three (safe) fellow employees, "hey, what does that bottom line read?" I got two chortles and one big-eyed look, so it wasn't just me.

Yep, they need a new font alright. Or maybe that's where Bender got his catchphrase from :P

It took me about 10 minutes of Googling your veiled references to figure out what the hell you're talking about. I think I get the gist, based on this package.

Heck with veiled. Looks like someone else had the same issue a month ago.

You are thinking of the Cinemax version.
