Revised compilation...

First, pair up the films in List A to make 20 pairs (one answer will be used twice). Then, match each pair to at least two films from List B, according to the Tangredi. One film from List B will stand alone, for reasons that will be obvious once the Tangredi is determined. Some films on List B will be used more than once - the exact number isn't important. Consider the puzzle finished if you have used each film from List B and have matched each pair of List A films with a minimum of two from List B.

(TV children from List A, TV parents from List B)

COMPLETE A/B PAIRINGS
"Everybody Loves Raymond" -- Ray Romano (A24. ICE AGE) and Brad Garrett (A36. FINDING NEMO); Peter Boyle (B2. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN) and Doris Roberts (B23. THE TAKING OF PELHAM ONE TWO THREE)

Nelly, I'm glad you're enthusiastic about completing the puzzle, but before you start looking up stuff all over the place, please let people have a chance to give their answers. Come on - you happen to know that M. Emmett Walsh played "Bus Passenger (uncredited)" in Midnight Cowboy and Bryan Cranston played "War Department Colonel" in Saving Private Ryan? No one in the puzzle is there for a film in which they were just an extra or had an insignificant role.

In that case, let's put THE JERK with M. Emmet Walsh instead of MIDNIGHT COWBOY.

If Nancy Walker is here for The Mary Tyler Moore Show, then Valerie Harper would be in one of the movies in List A, no? In any case, somebody on List A must also have been a regular on MTM.

Oh, and I can't believe there's still a question mark for TREMORS. That's obviously the right answer.
In that case: Maurice Evans from Planet of the Apes played Samantha's father in Bewitched.

And Mary's mother on The Mary Tyler Moore Show was played by Nanette Fabray of The Band Wagon.
If I remember correctly, John Randolph from Prizzi's Honor played Bob Newhart's father on The Bob Newhart Show.

Victor Buono of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane played Christopher Lloyd's dad on Taxi. And Jack Gilford of Forum played Judd Hirsch's father.

(Expanding our search beyond series regulars makes this interesting. It also means we aren't limited, say, to Nancy Walker and Peter Falk in Murder by Death. Did Eileen Brennan, for example, ever guest star as somebody's mother?)

Ooh! And I just remembered that Martha Scott of Our Town played Bob's mother!

Shoot! I just noticed that Christopher Lloyd isn't represented on the A list, but on the B list. That means the Buono/Lloyd pairing doesn't work.

I think we'll have to re-introduce the Debra Messing/Megan Mullally pairing because Debbie Reynolds ("Singin' in the Rain") played Grace's mother on "Will & Grace".

It's too bad that "The Birds" is in List A because Suzanne Pleshette played Karen's mother.

Some ideas. I think.

A1. THE HAPPENING -- I would bet this is here for Spencer Breslin, who was Dan Ackroyd's son in Soul Man and was in a couple other TV shows, too. OR Alan Ruck (on Spin City, maybe).

A18. THE WEDDING DATE -- Debra Messing's mother in Will and Grace was Debbie Reynolds (B47. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN). Also Blythe Danner (B38. 1776) played Eric McCormick's mother and Sydney Pollock (B16. MICHAEL CLAYTON) played his father but I'm not familiar enough with McCormick's movies to know if he is here.

A35. DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN -- How about Laurie Metcalf, who played Roseanna Arquette's sister in law? She was on Roseanne and Estelle Parsons (B12. BONNIE AND CLYDE) was the mother of Laurie Metcalf and Roseanne Barr. I don't see anything for Roseanne Barr, though.

Clarifying to make my Roseannes/Roseannas more distinct.

Darren McGavin and Colleen Dewhurst were Murphy Brown's parents.

If we can include grandparents, then Shelley Winters from Alfie can also go with Rosanne

Could The Birds be here for Veronica Cartwright? Didn't she play Jack's mother?

NEW CONSOLIDATION (or find my mistake, because I can't!)

This currently has both Ice Age and Finding Nemo used twice. One of them must be wrong. And I currently have 20 tv shows with two unmatched A-list movies, so something is wrong.

I have a feeling ER doesn’t belong here. And can we somehow hook up The Happening with What's Up Doc?

ER
Anthony Edwards (A26. Revenge Of The Nerds) and Goran Visnjic (A24. Ice Age)
Parents:

EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND

Parents:

THE BOB NEWHART SHOW
Bob Newhart (A23. Catch-22) and Suzanne Pleshette (A7. The Birds)
Parents: John Randolph (B7. Prizzi's Honor); Martha Scott (B42. Our Town)

MAD ABOUT YOU
Paul Reiser (A6. Diner) and Helen Hunt (A11. As Good As It Gets)
Parents: Carroll O’Connor (B40. Kelly's Heroes); Carol Burnett (B15. Annie)

Yes.

Their mother was played by Christina Pickles, but none of her films is listed in List B.

Good that people are finally having some fun with this.

The Tangredi is now a tad overrefined. Coarsen it a little to allow more options.

You have identified all 20 TV shows correctly. I obviously didn't look at the cast list for Ice Age very closely (and I don't normally watch ER). I may have tried a little too hard to get Melly's line into the puzzle!

Put the clue back up for B19. I really like that movie. The reason the soldier is crying is at the heart of the film.

I assume by "coarsening it up," you mean that the actors on the B list don't necessarily have to have played the parents of the actors from the A list, just as long as they played the parents of a regular on the show. That would let Victor Buono and Nancy Walker and Shelley Winters in.

Not just Nancy Walker, but also Harold Gould of The Sting, who played Rhoda's father.

Anthony Edwards' father was played by John Cullum ("1776").

Even slightly coarser than that. (But grandparents still don't count.)

I am thinking, then, that we have a movie with the wrong Deschannel sister. :D

Because, while Zoe Deschannel is in The Happening, Ryan O'Neal (B41. Paper Moon) plays the father of "Bones" on Bones. But that's Emily Deschannel, not Zoe.

I appreciate the effort, smiler. :D

Also, Paul Dooley was Sherry Stringfield's dad on ER.

Maybe not, but Shelley Winters was not just Rosanne's grandmother, she was Estelle Parsons's mother, so she still counts.

And Ned Beatty was John Goodman's dad on Rosanne.
