I hope Christie wasn't really looking forward to seeing three pages of everybody's Christmas menus. Or she's going to be severely disappointed.

And this one went to hell in a handbasket with no help from mini at all!
Not only that, but she's the one who brought it back ON TOPIC!!!!!

I hope she's ashamed of herself......

For Christmas Eve, I will be making a Cajun turducken along with the regular ol' turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and whatever all else I decide. We had a ham for Erin's birthday, so that covers all the cholesterol bases, I think.

I will make the hot spiced wine again. I don't even care if I drink any. I just like to sniff the fumes all day. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

I am absolutely flabbergasted that you all don't have turkey for Christmas dinner! Here in Ontario, my family were the weird ones for having ham.
Well, gotta remember that we here in the States had turkey less than a month ago! It's too soon to do another turkey dinner.

I'm more amazed at how many are having beef rather than ham!

To me, Thanksgiving = Turkey, Christmas = Ham, Easter = either Ham or Leg of Lamb.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only two times each year I get to have turkey, so dangit, my mom makes a turkey for Christmas!

It is never too soon to have turkey. It should be served once a month.... and not that deli crap, the real McCoy.....

lb13
My Aunt Kay, also an unbelieveably bossy first-born, worked for Lancaster Farms, formerly one of the largest turkey growers in the country, and she usta say the same thing -- people should roast turkeys all the time, not just at Thanksgiving and Christmas! She couldn't convince even her own sis, though -- it was a lost cause.

Yes. Kay's avatar has disappeared. I could see it the first day (Chapman getting into the pantry to help himself to snacks), and I could still see it after Cindy Lou Who said she couldn't see it any longer, but it has disappeared for me by now, too.

Now, when was the last time any of us could be called "too polite"?
Dang, I never even saw Chaz getting snacks at all (last I saw, he was sitting on the pavers laughing), but I wasn't here for several days.

Hey, I'm too polite, dammit! I'm so overly too polite that I have problems disagreeing with anybody, ever.
GUFFAW!

I couldn't see the avatar at first but can now, thanks to LB sacrificing and using up all that room on his computer to upload it from there.

The outfit floored me -- kids around here that age are bundled up to their eyebrows right now. Remember Randy in Christmas Story?
