Today is the 20th anniversary of when I bought stock in a little company called Amazon.com.

Bored gurus may recall a conversation I had a few years back with BIT in which we debated the merits and value of Amazon as a company. I bought it at $18 and a few cents per share. It split 2:1, 3:1 and 2.1 in the first couple of years so I have 12 times the number of shares. I remember our conversation. Well, not right now because it's 1:40 AM on a Saturday and the markets don't open again until Monday morning... but you know what I'm talking about. You can afford to quit at a 67,000% profit.
