Re: RIP Haskell Wexler
Replay the '93 interview Fresh Air served up as their tribute. From being adrift at sea as little more than a kid in WWII '42 in a tiny refuge boat that held 17 members of the Merchant Marine, having to confirm, with fellow sailors one of them as having died during the long time at sea & help throw him over, to hanging out of a helicopter on a wooden *swing* to get the shots for one of his movies. Amazing.
