Convictions per capita seems a poor comparison. Perhaps convictions per capita of total government officials might be a slightly better indicator.SportsFan68 wrote:I love statistics.ulysses5019 wrote:gsabc wrote: Today's USA Today is on top of it. Illinois isn't even close. #1 is a surprise.

Does kusch know if they have internet in the Minot County Jail. I'd hate for him to lose ground in the weekly rankings.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

And maybe it's good they actually convict the guys rather than let them run free. Maybe that's why Illinois was down lower on the list than expected.tanstaafl2 wrote:Convictions per capita seems a poor comparison. Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used.

I am sure that the hair is real; what I wonder is, whose hair (or 'what' hair) is it?

Now that's just plain funny. And after spending a day and a half photographing Gov Blago, I feel that it is most likely his. But I was not allowed to check for sure.ne1410s wrote:WG:Dick Cavett referred to it as a "bowling ball cozy".I am sure that the hair is real; what I wonder is, whose hair (or 'what' hair) is it?

I finally found the proper description of the hair: Lego hair! It's like the snap-on hair you put on the Lego figures! I was thinking of the Fisher-Price Little People, but that wasn't right............
