Meanwhile, Smith's opponent, when asked about the invasion of Georgia, thought they were talking about the US state.
Smith is running an ad I hate featuring a rape victim. This race is even dirtier than the Presidential one. I don't know who to vote for.

IMO, Oregon will be just fine either way. Gordon Smith and Jeff Merkley are both good men who have each done good work for your state over the years. I assume that Gov. Kulongoski will not run for re-election in 2010. If you're lucky, the loser of this election will run for governor two years from now, and then win. Then everybody will be happy.
