Have digital copiers at work?
Chances are, if you've used them to copy/fax/scan personal information, it's still loaded on the copier's hard drive...and your company will NOT erase them when they sell them upon replacement, etc.

This was news to me. Thanks, Jeemie. --Bob

Are butts like fingers? Do they leave distinctive and unique prints?
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

Re: Have digital copiers at work?
We were recently "blessed" with such multi-function machines. The Army has a policy for the disposal of such equipment, which does include wiping the hard drive (or, rather, lobotomizing the machine and smashing the disk). Whether that policy is followed or not is, of course, the question.Jeemie wrote:Chances are, if you've used them to copy/fax/scan personal information, it's still loaded on the copier's hard drive...and your company will NOT erase them when they sell them upon replacement, etc.
I presume the same would apply for information scanned at a Kinko's or some other office store.
