I'm an aunt again!
My brother who lives in Idaho has a new baby, so it's my niece or my nephew. I forgot to ask which. Here's a photo. (I don't know why the picture is so small. I think my mom shrunk it in the laundry or something.)

Does this mean I'm an uncle? Is he/she old enough to throw stuff at yet?
Squirrels are the architects of forests, the planters of trees, nature's own acrobats and show a zest for life that can inspire us. Every day should be National Squirrel Appreciation Day!

Many of these (squirrel) migrations were probably caused by food shortages as well as habitat overcrowding. We solved that for them. We not only reduced their habitat, we reduced the whole species by about 90%. The least we can do now is share a little birdseed with them.

The little one is a doll!
I thought s/he's a weimaraner puppy, but I was close, anyway. Weimaraners and German Shorthairs look just like each other sorta almost except for the color and some other small details.

Very, very nice addition to the family.
I said hi to a very similar looking puppy yesterday.
Her name is Chewybacka (sp?). She was at the beach and her dad was trying to make her sit and calm down before he let her off the leash to chase a tennis ball in the water. She was positively twitching to get in the water. She is a chocolate lab and about 18 months old.
Very nice young lady and I told her that I was sure I had a friend she would like alot.
