in an earlier post you claim Jan. 18, 1965 as you manufacture date. I know you got the year and week from the plate, but why the 18th?
I ask because that date is the date Mrs. Rexer came off the assembly line as well.

It was picked for sentimental reasons. Other than the code for it being the 3rd week in January, I picked the 18th because Mr. N8rH8r proposed on 18th of June, and the Corvair was registered on the 18th of June. It would also seem that this Merry Man was registered on the 18th of July. The 18th just kept popping up all over the place.
